Responsible information
Distinguish the ingredient
| Ingredient | General identity | Information to check |
|---|---|---|
| Honey | Bee-produced food from floral nectar or secretions | Product type, amount, added ingredients and intended use |
| Propolis | Resinous material collected and processed by bees | Extract type, carrier, standardisation where relevant and allergy warnings |
| Royal jelly | Secretion used in bee nutrition | Form, amount, storage and suitability |
| Pollen | Plant pollen collected by bees | Source, preparation, dose and allergy context |
Do not turn origin into a medical claim
Bee-derived materials may have a long history of use and a substantial research literature. That does not mean every extract, amount or finished supplement can be described as an antibiotic, treatment, immune cure or disease-prevention product.
In the EU food-supplement context, consumer claims must follow the applicable authorised-claim and food-information framework. Disease claims are not made on Telmone.nl.
Allergy and sensitivity matter
People can react to bee products or associated botanical materials. A history of allergy, asthma or sensitivity is a reason to read the exact label and seek qualified advice where appropriate. “Natural” is not an allergy-free guarantee.
Product labels should also clarify relevant carrier ingredients and animal-derived or dietary information.
Quality questions
- What exact material and preparation is used?
- What is the amount per recommended daily portion?
- Are identity or composition parameters specified?
- How are contaminants, microbiological quality and stability controlled?
- What warnings and storage conditions apply?
- Which claim, if any, is authorised for the product conditions?
Apitamax context
Apitamax has Mediterranean and bee-derived ingredient themes within its supplement portfolio. Telmone.nl uses that context to explain identity, quality and responsible use while excluding older disease-style or “natural antibiotic” wording.
Current Apitamax product labels remain the authority for formula, portion, warnings and claims.
Responsible information boundary
This page provides company, ingredient, quality or category information. It does not diagnose, treat or prevent disease and it is not a substitute for professional medical, pharmaceutical, nutritional or safety advice. Product labels and current official documentation remain authoritative.
