Telmone.nl takes a conservative approach to public claims: describe the product, ingredient, material, test or certification precisely, and do not turn background information into a guaranteed outcome.

Identity fact

The product contains a named ingredient or material according to the current specification.

Functional role

The ingredient or material has a recognised purpose in the formula or construction.

Finished-product evidence

A suitable method supports a defined performance or user-facing statement for the actual product.

Regulated claim status

The wording is allowed for the category, market and conditions of use.

No shortcut

What cannot be assumed

An ingredient’s published research automatically proves the finished product works the same way.
Traditional use authorises a modern disease claim.
“Natural” means safer, allergen-free or sustainable.
“Probiotic” means harmless in every exposure.
“Dermatologically tested” guarantees individual tolerance.
A partner certificate makes Telmone.nl itself certified.
European manufacturing means every raw material is European.

Correction and escalation

When a claim cannot be traced to current product documentation, an applicable rule or a reliable primary source, it should be narrowed, qualified, removed or escalated for review. Commercial attractiveness is not a substitute for substantiation.

Older brand websites may contain wording that does not meet this current standard. The Telmone.nl rebuild does not repeat that wording merely because it is already public.

Match the wording to the strongest evidence actually available

Responsible communication separates an ingredient fact, a product fact and a consumer-facing performance claim.

Ingredient or material statement

It is usually acceptable to identify a verified ingredient, source characteristic or material function when it is present and accurately described. Words such as natural, herbal, peptide-based or probiotic-related should be limited to the products and ingredients for which they are true.

Finished-product statement

Claims about the finished formula, safety, tolerability, cleaning performance, comfort or other product behaviour need evidence relevant to the exact product and intended use. Supplier literature is context, not automatic finished-product substantiation.

Health, environmental and certification language

These statements require particular care because regulatory definitions, authorised wording, test methods and certificate scopes can control what may be said. When evidence is narrower than the marketing phrase, the phrase should be narrowed too.

Publication rule

When a claim cannot be supported at the level a visitor is likely to understand it, Telmone should remove, qualify or rewrite the claim rather than relying on a disclaimer to repair an overstatement.
